I started my tango lessons in September 1999. Since then, I fell in love with the dance.
I'm not as active as before. What happened? Very few good male leads. I find it hard to enjoy dancing as I would end up guiding the newbie! I began to drop out slowly.
The tango scene is very different now, as compared to many years ago. I missed those days where all of us worked hard together recalling steps. We make it a point to dance with everyone and not be selective.
One day, I would like to visit Buenos Aires, Argentina. I want to brush up my skills again. A three month sabbatical leave sounds good.
